Getting Started
This page gets you from nothing to playing L.O.S Social Empires, our revival of Social Point's strategy game.
1. Make a L.O.S account
One L.O.S account plays every L.O.S game. If you already play L.O.S Farms or another L.O.S game, you're ready: skip to step 2.
Otherwise, make one on L.O.S Farms with Discord (one click) or with email (pick a name and password, then click the link we email you). It's free.
2. Get the L.O.S launcher
Social Empires was a Flash game, and modern browsers can't run Flash, so it plays in the L.O.S launcher, which has Flash built in. Download it from the Download page: there are versions for Windows, Linux and Mac.
- Mac: the launcher isn't signed by Apple. The first time, right-click it and choose Open (on macOS 15 and newer: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway).
- Updates: the launcher offers its own updates when you open it. Say yes: new versions bring fixes and art.
3. Play
Click Sign in in the launcher (your browser opens so you can pick Discord or email), choose L.O.S Social Empires in the games hub and press Play. Your progress is saved to your L.O.S account, so it's there on any computer.
- Arthur walks you through the start. Your first goal is to build a Farm Land.
- Houses, farms, sawmills and quarries make gold, wood, food and stone.
- Train an army, then clear the enemy camps around your kingdom.
- Every other L.O.S player is in your allies bar to visit.
4. This website
Log In at the top of socialempires.losgames.xyz signs you in through L.O.S Farms and brings you straight back. Then you can post in the forums, edit this wiki and set up your profile. See This Website: Profiles, Themes & Badges.
5. Join the Discord
The L.O.S Games Discord is home to every L.O.S game. Pick L.O.S Social Empires in #get-roles to see its chat, help and bug report channels. Type /socialempires there to play the L.O.S Social Empires arcade: quick jobs, a mini-game, a quiz and a daily bonus that go straight into your save.
